Privacy policy

Last updated July 24, 2026

PUMPS is a workout and nutrition tracker. Your data exists so the app can work for you — it is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared except as described below.

What we collect

Your email address and password (for sign-in), and the data you log: workouts, sets, exercises, personal records, foods eaten, nutrition targets, body weight, and optional profile details (height, birthdate, sex, activity level, goals).

Where it lives

Data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database and served through Vercel. Every record is protected by row-level security: your account can only ever read or write its own rows. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and never stored in plain text.

Third-party lookups

Food searches query the USDA FoodData Central database, and barcode scans query Open Food Facts. Only the search text or barcode number is sent — never your identity or your logs.

The Claude connector

If you generate a connector token, Claude (Anthropic) can read your training and nutrition data — read-only, only with your token, and only when you use it. Revoke access anytime in Profile; revocation is immediate.

Deleting your data

Profile → Account → Delete account permanently erases your account and every row you created, immediately and irreversibly.

Analytics & tracking

None. No analytics scripts, no ad trackers, no third-party cookies.
